about

I went to stay at my parent's house in Port Alberni for a few days, to clear my head. I wrote these songs during that time and recorded them all in my old bedroom.

Thanks for listening to my music, I love all of you! Yes, you!

Track Name: Song 2 (Flowerbed)
Isn't it pretty to think we're coming into spring?
All the daylight people come to show their faces
All of the green thumbs are waiting at the windows
waiting for some rain to come so they can
cultivate some love

No rain or luck fell on my little patch of lawn
I guess I'll have to wait to watch my flowerbed grow

It might be a while 'til we can properly see
We were waking up from a long drowsy sleep
Picking the glue out of my eyes
The great beyond was quiet a site, it surprised me
all the life in my surroundings
Smoldering on the front porch
Soggy shoes and worn in shorts
Stuck with cycles, abandoned land
Now I truly know what it means to be damned
Track Name: Song 4 (Stirred)
I've never felt this strange, sure or unsure of anything
I've never been so scared for no apparent reason
other than I've got nothing to lose.
The light hurts my eyes
and I haven't been outside in a while.

You say I've got places to be but I won't go
You say I've got obligations, I don't know...
